WITH NO POLITICS aduce în faţa publicului interesat de artă o
formă cel puţin incitantă a contemporaneităţii.

Bogdan Aleksnadrov – Bulgaria
With the passing of time together with the ups and downs of social structures, we have been able to observe the way art is many times marked by political affinities or disappointments. E.U. With no Politics has as one of its main goals to get detached of these types of approach. It brings into question the way artists with a different nationality can come together in an exhibition and create a high level of communication through their ways of expression. Their works become a proof of the spontaneity and the ease art can demonstrate when trying to get detached of any type of social constrains, giving the public a series of states, expressions, approaches that appeal primarily to individual sensitivity.
Contemporary art, through the unconventional who it values, often happens to refuse providing more than a few clues, more than a few suggestions designed to resonate with every viewer in particular. Artist ceased to seek its sensitivity in the outside, choosing to call their inner structure. We get from here a unique transparency in artistic manifestations a gorgeous fluidity of expression. All choices artist will make from now on are meant to sincerely sync with the message they need to communicate.
In this respect, Bogdan Aleksandrov made a movie of the experiment, a movie of the intensity of inner discovery, revealed in the simplicity of life. Strong feelings are extracted from detail. The artist creates a world of echoes, tensions and sensitivities that we find in every detail around us. The exterior becomes a purely personal experience.
Continuing shaping universes, Ingrid Opstelten brings us a number of installations that prove a highly sensitive dynamic. With the casts made on her own body and through precise contours, she proposes a series of instances of the human being finding itself on the border with the world of dreams. The artist`s works are strongly energized by light effects.
Art never loses its mobility and comes closer and closer to life through the works of Gerlinde Pistner. The artist describes her works as “living art”. A number of installations created as a plastic clothing collection in various colors will outline the idea of materiality, describing a cover for the human being. What we produce comes to define us, to clothe us.
With Marion Walter’s three works femininity is emphasized. The artist will assume that every woman is beautiful, successfully managing to convince us of this. The woman is represented by what defines her the most: her breasts. Through proper lines and colors, each work, representing a certain woman`s breasts, will gain individuality. Each female will describe a typology, but the most important, all women, no matter the patterns, describe beauty.
The human being will lose its material consistency in the works exhibited by Adrian Lis. Through tense portraits, the artist puts the being in perspectives where the tangibility loses its relevance, leaving space to the process sensed through the portrait’s tension.
As a synthesis of contemporary, Maria Gall presented a video describing its artistic approaches. In his works of animated sculpture and three-dimensional painting, the artist treats art as a challenge where it is meant to be redefined, here referring specifically to painting and sculpture. Her works are living on their own, they are living organisms themselves. Sculpture proposes itself as a representation of its own structure. Maria Gall’s art takes value from itself, it becomes a member of its own living universe where it creates a spectacle through its own mechanisms.
